# Carillon 0.1.5

This beta updates macOS and Windows with clearer service startup and recovery controls.

- On macOS, open Options → MCP to pair a local AI client, choose its project permissions, and copy the
connection configuration. AI clients can register projects and add service definitions in
existing folders; creating definitions does not run commands. MCP is off until you enable it.
- Windows correctly shows that Local MCP is available only on macOS in this version.
- Windows services and terminals start without waiting for a terminal tab to open. Options
popups return keyboard focus to Options when dismissed.
- Services can wait for a local web server during startup. Recovery and crash details stay with
the affected service; the project control stops any active services before offering Start all.
- Updates download and verify before installation. Active work or an unfinished edit defers
completion until you choose Restart to update.
- Settings and forms show explanations beside their headings. Settings keeps the current version
and a compact Check button on one row.
- Local diagnostics collects bounded, typed operation records. This release adds no feedback
  submission or upload service.

The Windows installer remains unsigned with Authenticode and may show a SmartScreen warning.
In-app update artifacts use Carillon's separate updater signature.
